But unfortunately not for the locals!
Unfortunately, half of the population lives far below the poverty line. This was a reason for us to give something back to the local community during our holidays, the people are poor, but incredibly friendly and helpful.
Giving something back became the motto.
We support small-scale projects and especially like to do it ourselves, which means that every cent is spent on location. With the proceeds from this lottery we buy medical aids such as wheelchairs, walking frames and hospital beds, but we also distribute food parcels in the poorest neighborhoods to supplement daily needs, as it is a challenge for many to make ends meet during the week.
